Our History
Caprock High School was opened in the fall of 1963 with a campus that resembles the meaning of its name, flat level land.
The first year's enrollment consisted of 891 students and has grown to 1861 as of fall 2012. The mascot is the Longhorn which symbolizes strength and endurance. Our students and faculty support proud traditions and encourage achievement and individuality.
